Photos from Rotary's first 2 Walks for Respect

The morning of Saturday 14th September 2024 saw around 1,000 wonderful South Australians Walk for Respect from Adelaide's Victoria Square to Elder Park, to say NO to Domestic Violence and YES to Respectful Relationships. Around 30 local Domestic Violence support organisations and community groups partnered with Rotary to peacefully show their determination also. Many dignitaries joined in, including around 20 State and Federal politicians and Departmental leaders.

Raising awareness of the signs of Coercive Control was a major focus for our 2023 walk. A little understood form of Domestic Violence for which Rotary aims to build recognition and understanding.
