Any number of people are welcome to register to walk on Parade Day.
There are wonderful support groups / agencies / health services / businesses and more signing up to lead a Parade Group.
When YOU register to walk, you can choose which of these groups you would like to walk with to show your support within the Parade.
We would love you to share the Parade with your family .. your friends .. your colleagues and beyond. Rotary and our Groups are hoping to have many thousands of people walk with us on Parade Day to fill King William Street and offer the TV Cameras an outstanding example of how our community SAYS NO to Domestic Violence and Coercive Control, as we also help spread the educational messages about what people should look for.
Make sure your friends know our Walk for Respect lasts for only 1.2km from Victoria Square down to the Pioneer Womens Memorial Garden opposite the Festival Theatre. So it is an easy downhill walk - only about 30 minutes. Then we can all stick around (if you have time) for a coffee, bite to eat - chat - connect - listen to some inspiring presentations.
Please do tell your friends that they can choose their own Group to walk with, plus we will have an 'open public' section.
Thank you to the people who have already chosen during registration to add a voluntary donation! Rotary is a group of volunteers, who will use surplus funds to work with our registered Groups to see if we can help them deliver programs and/or services. That's what Rotary is about - supporting our Community. So again ... Thank You for your Donation.
Your Email Address ...
By registering, we're not adding you to a marketing list or selling your data to anyone. We will use your registration email address only to keep you informed of any changes or key parade updates as we get close to Saturday 25 November. We'll also send out a reminder close to the Parade Day because we know how busy all our lives get. Thanks.
