Embolden currently represents 18 organisations delivering specialist services that promote women’s and children’s safety and wellbeing, and works to prevent and respond to violence against women. These include services that work with men who use violence against women and Aboriginal specialist services.
As SA’s peak body, we advocate for women’s right to respect, safety and self-determination, providing policy advice and submissions to government. We collaborate and partner across sectors on issues related to gender equality and women’s safety, and engage with the broader community through events and community action.
Embolden offers Associate membership for public and community sector organisations that work in the women’s and social justice sector, and Supporter membership for businesses, philanthropic entities and individuals with an interest in ending gender-based violence.
