Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls.

Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential.

In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men.

In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Across  the 69 countries where Zonta is located including in Australia and South Australia Zonta Internationals goal is to be a credible and visible voice on gender equity and to deliver initiatives addressing education equality, climate justice, ending gender-based violence, and ensuring women are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men.

We believe in making the world a better place by empowering women.

We find joy in doing this in a supportive community of like-minded people from diverse countries and cultures.

There are 10 very active clubs in South Australia, members are involved in a number of service initiatives including supplying toiletries and funds to women who are seeking refuge in shelters.

Zonta also engages in other service activities including but not restricted to making and distributing breast cushions for people who have had breast surgery and assembling birthing kits for distribution to international locations so women can have a clean birthing experience.
